Texas State Bank formed The Data Center in response to the growing need for quality processing services for itself and other financial organizations. Achieving a reputation of providing high quality, innovative and reliable services The Data Center of Texas State Bank grew to serving 8 financial institutions in South Texas region with several being of significant size of over billion in assets. The Data Center North started in 1986 as the an in-house bank data processing solution for a Fort Worth based banking organization. With the completion of implementing the in-house solution and with the continued expansion and growth of the bank, the information systems division was formed and further competent and capable staff with expertise in managing data processing services was acquired. The basis and idea for serving the needs of independent banks grew and expanded as the bank offered correspondent banking services to other financial organizations. In 1991, the bank information systems division added it's first customer for data processing services and quickly established itself as a competitor in the bank services industry in North Texas. In May 1998, that local bank organization merged with another Texas based regional banking organization. This merger resulted in the formation of an independent services division of the regional bank. The business objectives were to continue to provide and expand data processing services to the financial institution community. In February 2002, this client servicing division was acquired by Texas State Bank based in McAllen, Texas. With the acquisition of the additional processing services, The Data Center has grown to processing more than 27 independent banks most with multiple locations. We provide data processing services, electronic banking solutions, computer and network support and back room operations services. The Data Center management and staff have many years of experience in compiling, providing and managing quality bank data processing services to institutions. We are an experienced and capable group that can provide support to you institution as an extension to your own staff of quality people. We have the expertise to help you with your data processing needs while assisting in the management of your ever changing technology requirements.
