Vice-President of Marketing and Communications and Chief Experience Officer
Chatham was founded as Pennsylvania Female College in 1869, changed to Pennsylvania College for Women in 1890, became Chatham College in 1955 and Chatham University in 2007. It remains an all-women's college for undergrads. Co-educational graduate programs have been offered since 1994.
I'm an award-winning brand and marketing professional experienced in creating a unique brand voice, improving brand awareness, and driving revenue for a breadth of institutions and companies (big and small). I have a depth of skills spanning consumer research, brand management, strategic and digital marketing, internal and executive communications, CRM, social media, media relations, event marketing, and the ability to bring brands to life across a variety of touch points. Following a decade at a creative branding agency, I joined Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA to provide strategic leadership and oversee all aspects of the university’s branding, marketing, and communications activities. At Chatham, I led the successful coed transition of Chatham’s 145-year-old undergraduate women’s college, and was honored with the national American Marketing Association's Higher Education Marketer of the Year (Innovator Award) for driving institutional change.
