My primary job is to align great ideas with funders, but I am a writer at heart. Passionate about education, much of my daily life focuses on aligning great ideas with willing funders. During my tenure at CSB, the external grants office has been responsible for garnering $20 million and counting.... I grew up on Minnesota’s Iron Range where I learned hard work, appreciation of nature and art, and how to locate the best blueberry picking spots. Life beyond work revolves around writing for pleasure and modest profit, converting a Minnesota lawn to all garden, and spending time advocating for important causes, and investing in them.
