I'm currently helping CBIZ work towards making its CRM (Salesforce.com) data more robust and more actionable so that we can move to the next level: using predictive analytics to drive sales and, in general, improve decision making. It's a learning process as we figure out how a B2B financial services company can learn from the the "Big Data" models of the large B2C companies. Looking outside of our own limited information to larger data sets in the cloud is helping us move in that direction.Specialties: Salesforce.com CRM, data analysis, marketing, communications, product & market development, competition analysis, and other business building initiatives.Looking back, my career has been centered around the financial services industry. I started on the sales side, providing product support, and then gradually found my way via competitor analysis and product development to broader marketing roles. I've often been called on to concurrently manage diverse functions and projects with multiple competing priorities. The general trend in marketing away from its more "artsy" past and towards a greater focus on technology (CRM systems, capitalizing on customer/prospect data, social media, etc.) is a good fit for my analytical nature.CBIZ, Inc. provides professional business services that help clients better manage their finances and employees.
