BASIC PURPOSE: Work with the Email Marketing Team to aid in development and deployment of email campaigns that meet business objectives, while meeting tight deadlines. Work on all aspects of e-mail execution with a focus on QA, coordination with ESP (email service provider), segmentation, targeting and deployment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Coordinate and deploy tactical, strategic, survey, transactional and triggered emails. • Responsible for email and landing page proofing and testing prior to deployment to ensure campaign and promotional accuracy. • Responsible for set up and queuing of weekly emails. • Creates and maintains records of weekly tracking codes for all email campaigns. • Receives direction from Email Marketing Manager and properly communicates plan to support staff. • Coordinate project requirements with Graphic Designer. • Coordinate project requirements with Email Producer. • Maintain working production schedule and calendar of promotional events through coordination with Revenue Management dept. • Communicate details of promotions with other departments. • Troubleshoot technical issues with ESP representative and Email Marketing Team if problems arise with tracking, implementation or deployment of email campaigns. • Coordinate with Online Merchandising team to ensure a quality customer experience in all marketing communications. • Coordinate with team members and cross-functional partners for timely deployment of all campaign activities. • Routinely perform A/B testing of emails to continually improve email performance. Record test results. • Participate in cross-functional team meetings to gain understanding of content strategies and review email content for compliance with stated content strategy. • Ensure both internal and 3rd party emails, comply with CAN/SPAM laws and email best practices.
