As Lead Architect for the Emerging Technology Group, Ninou Sarwono is responsible for leading several initiatives to get Capital Group ahead of the curve on high impact emerging technologies and business opportunities such as blockchain, fintech, intelligent automation, design thinking and artificial intelligence. In his role, collaborating closely with internal leaders, startups, industry subject matter experts, VC investors and established vendors, he leads the market research, experimentation and development of unique perspective, insights and strategy for implementing emerging ideas at Capital Group. He also produces innovation exercises as a method to influence mindset, educate and energize all facet of the organization on emerging technologies. Ninou is a member of FIX Community Digital Currency and Blockchain Working Group. Prior to focusing on emerging technology, Ninou was the Lead Solution Architect for large complex business and technology transformational initiatives across Capital Group, including digital channels next generation platform and investment management back-office and front-office re-architecture programs. He was a recipient of the inaugural Capital Group Information Technology Group leadership award in 2014. Ninou holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA from the University of Southern California (Member of Beta Gamma Sigma)
