I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I studied Business Management. In my third year of college, I was offered a full-time sales position with Financial Independence Group. At that time UNCC did not have a night studies program for Business Management so I made the decision to take the job at FIG and find a college that would allow me to work full-time but still finish school. I enrolled at Montreat College here in Charlotte and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Business Marketing. In September of 2007 I started my carrier as a marketing and sales consultant in the annuity division. I was 1 of 18 annuity marketing consultants, with fewer than 80 employees and a annual annuity production level under $1 Billion. I was given a great opportunity to be a part of exponential growth with this company through the years. I developed great relationships with many advisors all around the U.S. During my time with FIG I helped several financial advisors reach the level of multimillion dollar status. Before I left FIG in October of 2014 we had grown to over 100 plus employees and reached annuity sales of over $2 Billion annually.I am incredibly blessed to have worked for one of the industry’s top insurance wholesalers in the country. Through Financial Independence Group I was exposed to some of the best sales consultants in the nation which have equipped me with the formula to lay a solid foundation for building a very successful carrier. I can say with upmost confidence that FIG has given me the training and experience needed to pursue top level sales opportunities.
