There is a revolution in the FMCG sector. Brands have a need to build relationships with their consumers both directly and through their retail outlets. Throughout my career I have had the pleasure of working with some of the world’s largest brands. I have used my understanding of their strategy and channel development plans to build long-term commercial partnerships with all of the UK’s major supermarkets. In addition, I have also implemented sales strategies across all other retail outlets including Convenience, Wholesale and newer consumer opportunities such as Travel, Forecourts, High Street and Food Service. This variety of experience gives me a unique perspective on the challenges faced by FMCG businesses in engaging consumers, whether on-line or in-store. One-size definitely does not fit all. Understanding the key triangle of consumer, retailer and brand ensures that the right stock is in the right place – with the right offer and availability. As an ambitious and tenacious individual, I get things done. I manage multi-million pound budgets and have consistently increased sales and developed commercial partnerships that still thrive years after their inception. My drive is long-term mutually beneficial relationships and my experience shows that my teams and I deliver on our promises.
