I provide practical employment law and hr advice tailored to clients' objectives, ways of working and requirements. I work with and advise businesses of all sizes in all sectors as well as individuals. I continue to support and advise clients on employment related pandemic and COVID-19 matters, particularly absences, as well employment tribunal claims and non covid related matters including senior employee exits and settlement agreements. I undertake training for clients and their staff on a range of topics tailored to their specific needs and objectives with the aim of giving managers confidence to address potentially difficult and long-term costly matters. I am supporting clients with preparations for opportunities at Sizewell C. As a member of the education team, I advise a range of education establishments including within higher and further education. As a school governor I understand the inner working more than most. I am a partner and head of the BLHR and employment team. I am a leading individual in the Legal 500 and have been described as professional, extremely knowledgeable, fantastic, passionate, dedicated and a real subject matter expert that delivers credible, concise practical solutions and a personalised and tailored service. I am co-chair of the CIPD Essex and Ipswich branch. I frequently speak to CIPD members and others of all levels of experience and knowledge to help keep them up to date with legal and hr matters through employment law updates and other topical presentations, including dignity and respect at work, harassment in the workplace, mental health awareness and lots lots more. I am a Mental Health First Aider at Birkett Long and an avid amateur photographer.
