In my current role as Organizational Change Management Lead, I am a senior member of the Project Management Office and I am involved in large IT projects from the planning phase through delivery and sustainment. Since 2008, I have developed BHP Billiton Petroleum's OCM framework and I lead the network of change management professionals within our organization. Our projects range from software implementations for our business support groups, such as Facilities Management, Finance and Supply, to building Subsurface Computing environments that enable critical decisions for our Exploration and Geoscience groups. Additionally, many of our projects are focused on IT improvements such as implementing Cloud Computing, Security and Controls, and moving to a new data center. Most recently I am also the Project Manager for our corporate-lead projects including transitioning email to Microsoft O365 and upgrading our internet browser environment. From 2011-2013 I built and managed BHP Billiton Petroleum division's SAP training team targeted at sustaining the value of our large and successful SAP implementation. Between 1990 and 2006, I was engaged in significant entrepreneurial work with software startups where I was VP Marketing, VP Sales or CEO for several companies. My industry experience includes Oil and Gas, Architecture, Telemedicine, IT software, and Legal technology. I spent 6 years at BMC Software in product marketing and web strategy. I enjoy networking and making connections among colleagues and friends. I am a past co-chair of the program committee for Houston Texchange and sit on the board of Houston Achievement Place.
