Hands-on and enthusiastic software technology leader with over 20 years’ experience building and leading teams develop software applications for commercial, aviation and military use. In the commercial world, I’ve developed: - distributed system for on-premise and serverless cloud (AWS) deployment - cloud-based VPN - microapps deployed in General Electric’s Predix/APM platform, a cloud platform for the Industrial Internet. For aviation, I’ve managed the development of real-time embedded Integrated Modular Avionics systems that integrates and manages the different software modules that controls the airplane and a model-based development software to rapidly model complex avionics designs. For the military, I’ve contributed to the development of the first distributed software-controlled system for heavy armored vehicles, developed the Tomahawk’s missile Mission Display System user interface and other software applications that helped modernize and greatly improve the safety and protection of our soldiers. I am also a certified agile Scrum master and lean six sigma green belt, skills that allows me to easily establish a lean agile methodology in any organization. My specialty is to transform the business vision into tangible software products our customers demand and offer them a great customer experience. At the same time, I am always looking for ways to innovate our products and work side-by-side with our Product Managers, customers and leadership team to come up with the next product innovation or features. My management style is to lead by example and remove any obstacles my team faces that would or could prevent them from achieving their goals. I encourage each team member to learn leadership skills, to come out of their comfort zone, to setup short and long-term goals and become the best version of themselves. I coach and mentor them every step of the way.
