Most recently Partner, Canadian Mining and Metals Sector for Ernst & Young and has over 25 years of experience advising multinational and emerging corporations on business issues in a broad range of counties. I led key client teams for some of the largest Canada-based mining companies on strategic business initiatives and growth platforms. I am also a frequent lecturer at numerous mining industry forums on a broad range of topics and an author for several publications on tax and mining issues. I am a member of the Board of Directors for the Association for Mineral Exploration of British Columbia (AMEBC), a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for the UBC Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering, a member of the Advisory Council of the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute (CIRDI) and a former member of the Board of Directors for the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). I am a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Account (U.S.), Chartered Financial Planner and hold a bachelor of Commerce Degree from Carleton University.
