I spent the first half of my career in Asia in Sales. As a Rookie, quickly made a windfall through commissions and invested it in starting up a business as a VAR . Ran out of cash as we operated in a deep recessionary environment, but the experience taught me lessons in managing a start-up and talent retention. Resumed career as a Territory Sales Manager, and soon after I was chosen for a special top-talent assignment with Digital Equipment in Hong Kong. Later in Hong Kong I moved from Sales to Marketing roles, and ended my tenure by winning the coveted, 'Worldwide Marketing & Sales Functional Excellence Award'. The second half of my career has been in the US leading teams in services line management, product marketing, sales enablement/execution, GTM initiatives, and strategy. I've had striking success in bench-marking performance and turning around lagging business segments. Describe myself as an instigator of innovation with unwavering determination to bring products to market, plan strategically, influence structural change, build great talent, and execute relentlessly. Am part of a “Top Talent Pool” at HP and have consistently been a Top 10% Performer.
