With a career rooted in human capital strategy and project management, I do my best work in creating & launching people-focused programs, functions, and initiatives. Recruiting the best talent is incredibly important, but you must foster an environment that stretches, grows and continues to teach those at the top of their field. Some of my proudest moments include: building a global recruitment function from scratch (people, process, tools) that went on to hire over 900 people in its first 36 months. Creating a corporate training function that hosted over 55 learning events globally in its first 12 months (and authoring and facilitating many of those courses). Developing a "high potentials" program to foster the growth and development of selected junior staff. Launching a cutting edge corporate careers site to attract the right talent to our brand. Partnering with global and local nonprofits to facilitate a corporate social responsibility program. My top skills include: grasping the Big Picture and translating it into tactical projects. Leading direct and matrixed teams towards a common goal. Collaborating virtually and across global timezones. Finding and leveraging the efficiencies that propel growth.
