I am a young software engineer, with a strong background in algorithms and data structures, and more than 9 years of experience in competitive programming. I have participated in numerous national and international programming competitions and have been recognised with several awards during that time, including a silver medal at the International Zhautykov Olympiad in 2012. After spending a year at one of the leading research institutes in Germany, I sought a venue where I could explore greater opportunities and gain more knowledge from the industry, thus, growing as an engineer, and as a person. This is the reason why I went with Microsoft's Bing Local Search team as a Software Development Engineer Intern for a summer, where I was running curated queries and processors to improve their machine learning models quality for entity department detection. Following that I decided that I had yet to try out what a startup feels like, which is why I joined the leader in the mobile marketing automation world, namely - Leanplum. I am truly passionate about the work and business I get into. If there is one thing that my rowing team taught me it is that staying focused and dedicated to a long term goal is what makes the difference between those people who are truly successful, and those who are not. I completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Jacobs University Bremen.
