Coleman (Cole) Lannum is an award-winning Investor Relations Officer (IRO) and investor with more than 30 years of financial and corporate experience. His background includes expertise in IR strategy, investment analysis, and portfolio management in a variety of corporate settings. Cole has developed a deep understanding of Wall Street and has forged extensive relationships within the investment community. His unique style has contributed to the evolution of the IR role, financial communications, and corporate strategy. Cole has been consistently recognized by the investment community for his IR expertise. He was named the Best Large Cap US Investor Relations Officer every year from 2011 – 2015, and Top Global IRO in 2014, setting a record that remains unbroken by any other company or individual. Additional best-in-class awards include best investment community meetings, best earnings calls, best pharmaceutical IRO, best Medical Technology IRO, and best financial reporting (among others). His recent corporate leadership roles include redesigning and leading the IR function at Zimmer Biomet Holdings (NYSE: ZBH), and creating the Investor Relations program for Covidien – leading it through the completion of its merger with Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT). Since the early 2000s, Cole has assembled and presided over some of the most highly acclaimed Investor Relations teams in the United States. He has overseen investor relations for both the largest Health Care IPO in history and the largest-ever Medical Technology merger. Cole has notable experience in taking companies public, with multiple successes in spinoffs, corporate breakups, IPOs, SPACs/de-SPACs, and mergers. He currently advises select companies on financial communications and IR strategy on a broad range of topics, and is the CFO and Board Member for MDvisit, providing strategic financial counsel and oversight to the organization. In addition to his finance background, Cole is a prolific professional producer and actor. He has produced and appeared in a variety of projects, including short and feature films, network TV shows, and commercials. Cole earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Olin School of Business, Washington University, and his Master of Business Administration degree (Finance / Management) from the Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of SAG-AFTRA.
