XIFIN is a health information technology company that leverages diagnostic information to improve the quality and economics of healthcare for laboratories. As the Regulatory Research Manager, I was responsible for maintaining all federal and state coding and billing edits per insurance guidelines. These critical edits were loaded into our software that enabled the submission of clean claims to payers. Keeping data logic and edits current requires an extreme attention to detail. I was a CPC, certified professional coder through the AAPC. This certification allowed me to be a Subject Matter Expert on coding/billing related issues. I interfaced with management, engineering and project managers providing them with policy guidelines and regulatory changes impacting our customers. I also interpreted data, created spreadsheets and provided comprehensive guidance on many healthcare issues pertaining to the lab industry. I have a strong ability to multitask, prioritize my workload and possess strong verbal and written skills.
