I have worked in the healthcare field for over 35 years. I am very good at developing and implementing processes. I manage a department with many employees who are just getting into the healthcare field and have minimal skills and training when they start. It is fun and challenging to develop these folks. I also have nurses who provide clinical expertise and a call center I manage. I worked as a provider for more than half my career and now I am on the other side as a payer. I have taken this department from 8 people when I started to 30 now as the business has grown and expanded services. I have a lot of experience working with change. I have worked for three different companies in the same capacity as the fiscal agent. There are challenges when you make big changes. I work well within and understand the importance of complying with government regulations. I have successfully led the preparation and ensured the success of passing accreditation several times with two DME companies as well as various audits in my present position.
