David S. Kennedy is an effective leader with an exceptional depth of experience demonstrated within each of four industry-leading companies in the consumer packaged goods industry and related fields where he’s worked. Work experience includes channel sales leadership, national account sales, trade budget strategy and design, customer marketing, category management, analytic sales and consulting and new product development. During my tenure with industry-leading companies including Wrigley, The Coca-Cola Company, Nielsen, Quaker Oats, I’ve led cross-functional and sales teams to drive tremendous results. Through strategic planning and a focus on continual P&L metric improvement, talent development and customer penetration, I’ve led multiple national accounts and sales team turnarounds. I believe that the CPG industry will continue to evolve as we capture more big data on our customers and consumers. The key to success moving forward will be to turn this data into insights to improve our marketing strategies, product innovation, and retail execution to drive sales and increase the bottom line. Through strategic leadership, I drive results. Whether it’s with a complete restructuring of a department or through training and development of team members, it’s my goal to take action and lead my organization to sustainable growth.
