Multiple award winner in both sales and sales leadership including Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Territory Manager, Top 5% of the sales force 3 years in a row, District Manager of the Year, and back to back Regional Sales Manager of the Year. Made the transition into medical device/implant sales with Stryker Spine after Kos was acquired in early 2007 by Abbott Labs. Stryker Spine was the fastest growing Spine company in the world and the fastest growing division within Stryker. Joined Salix Pharmaceuticals in 2009 as the Midwest Regional Sales Manager for the Futura expansion sales force. I was then promoted to Regional Sales Manager of Key Accounts in 2011 to help build our new Institutional Sales Division. My team enabled me to be the #1 ranked Regional Sales Manager of the Year for 2011 and again in 2012. After a promotion to Senior Regional Sales Manager of Key Accounts in 2013, Salix acquired Santarus, Inc. and I was promoted to lead the Marketing efforts for our newly acquired Diabetes Franchise in Raleigh, NC. With the approval of Relistor for chronic non-cancer pain in late 2014, I was chosen to also lead the Relistor Brand team. I helped to launch this product with a newly created Pain specialty sales force and laid the groundwork for the Relistor oral formulation launch in 2016. Salix was acquired by Valeant Pharmaceuticals in 2015 and after staying on through the transition, jumped at the opportunity to lead the North American sales efforts as the VP of Sales for Workplace Options.
