An attorney for more than 20 years and a partner at national law firm Wilson Elser, I focus my practice on ERISA, life, health and disability law. I am proud to have earned a reputation for excellence among colleagues and clients alike. As national counsel for several major disability and life insurers, I represent clients in all phases of litigation throughout the United States. I am also often asked to consult on issues prior to the commencement of litigation with an eye toward early resolution. In addition, I consult with clients on issues involving claims administration and drafting plan language, and provide representation and advice to self-funded employee benefit plans. I have an active appellate practice, having argued in eleven of the U.S. Courts of Appeals as well as the Supreme Court of Alaska and Pennsylvania appellate courts. I also represent insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation.
