I've always been an innovator at heart and enjoy tackling the hard problems that don't have solutions yet. I love building great software and designing systems. I am very hands on and love to get into the code base and work with actual code. I believe this gives me the best understanding of how things work and see where opportunities lay. It also gives me a good idea of where the problems are and how soon they will become serious issues. My philosophy of software development tends to be very pragmatic. I almost always prefer a simple solution to a complex one. My goal is to develop working and maintainable software to solve the business needs within the constraints provided. I strive to build systems that others will be able understand and to change as needed and that can scale and adapt to future requirements.
