Extensive knowledge of the full energy transition covering generation, transmission, distribution and retail and sat at the table as developer, owner, contractor and operator. Built several regional renewables platforms with over $8 billion in projects and assets and a presence throughout Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia. Successfully developed, financed and executed over $3 billion of renewable energy projects around the world, raising and structuring debt finance and deploying and managing equity positions. Started and built up several businesses dedicated to the energy transition, engaging stakeholders, setting strategic vision, putting the right leadership in place, optimizing operations, managing risks and strengthening governance. Overseen construction, operation and maintenance of major infrastructure assets, resolving operational issues, aligning asset performance with business goals and protecting equity returns. Committed team leader who has led multi-disciplinary and culturally diverse groups to achieve critical bottom-line targets; with direct experience in North America, Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Currently, I’m the Head of Voltalia’s activities in Europe, Africa & International with responsibility for all of Voltalia's businesses in Europe and Africa, as well as our International Markets and Power Sales activities. Prior to this, I was CEO of Abengoa North America, responsible for all of Abengoa's generation, transmission, water and services business in the United States and Canada.
