Enterprise Architect - Designed VMware Infrastructures for life critical and data environments. - Architected a Tier One Backup solution for an 80 million dollar tier 3 data center. - Architect consultant on multiple incoming projects evaluating application requirements including hardware / blades, SAN / NAS options and virtualization. - Research and Development into new products and technology, documented findings / possible use cases to executive leadership before capital is allocated. - Authored several white papers on VMware Infrastructure Design, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and engineering calculators. - Server and Storage Tiering / SLA’s. Project Management - Project Manager on several VMware infrastructure deployments / upgrades. - Project Manager on NAS migration from Novell, 850 workstation deployment including engineering, licensing and team management. Strategic planning with multiple infrastructure pieces looking 1 to 5 years ahead. Vendor negotiations for hardware / software / support contracts.
