I devoted my career to learning and development because of the critical difference it makes for organizations to reach their goals.I have worked for several major companies throughout my career, and am proud of being an integral leader in their learning and development organizations. I have a practical, systemic approach to ensure that the innovative learning solutions I put in place are developed with a long term perspective.But I know I cannot do it alone. My strength in working collaboratively with key stakeholders, executives, staff, and employees guarantees a holistic solution and gets the buy-in needed to make it work. Also critical is developing assessment tools to measure progress and/or make modifications when necessary. I see potential in every individual. I get excited when I can enable growth with stretch goals and development opportunities—working together toward organization success.A few highlights of my career:- Launched and built learning and development functions in major companies. Repeatedly transformed the function into a high-performing, credible team.- Drove and developed innovative programs and initiatives that have consistently strengthened internal competencies, reduced costs, streamlined operations, and delivered measurable improvements to bottom-line productivity. - Directed multiple public training facilities. Oversaw curriculum development, program evaluations, staff and contractor selection and on-going supervision.
