I love solving hard problems. I am an experienced technology leader who has worked across Australia, Asia and Europe to deliver world first solutions that have stood the test of time. I am immensely proud to have been involved in connecting the world’s first eSIM enabled iPhone to a mobile network, the first activation for the National Broadband Network in Australia and establishing the worlds first global mobile network at Truphone. I believe in open and honest communication and creating lasting relationships with my team, customers and partners that are built on trust and transparency. I strive to learn new things, develop my own skills and support the people around me in order to find ideas, opportunities and solutions that will help solve real world problems. I believe in the importance of a positive mindset when tackling ‘the impossible’ and bring energy, enthusiasm and humour to all my endeavours. I sweat the details and do not believe in wasting energy on the things I cannot control. I have strong technical leadership experience being hands-on in building secure solutions at scale that support organisations such as Apple, Sony, NBN Co, ANZ Bank, Coles Group and Medicare Australia. I am passionate about quality software and have experience in leading the full development lifecycle using delivery methodologies which create solutions with robust architecture that are secure, scalable and can evolve over time. As a member of the GSMA Industry Standard Approval Group I believe in the benefits that standards bring to delivering solutions that last and can operate at scale globally. I talk a lot about eSIM and truly believe in the powerful transformation opportunity it brings to the mobile communications industry. It is crazy that after 20 years of innovation in mobile devices that so many of us still rely on a little piece of plastic (the SIM!) to connect us to the things we love. For the last 5 years, I have been committed to change all of this and enjoy sharing this new vision with the world.
