Chris is the Director of Legal Technology at Troutman Pepper and Troutman Pepper eMerge. eMerge is a wholly owned subsidiary of the law firm Troutman Pepper. eMerge was created to provide clients with a multidisciplinary team of attorneys and technologists that combine strategic legal thinking and advanced technology for the management of electronically stored information (ESI) in a variety of legal matters. Chris consults with attorneys and clients on information governance, data privacy, cyber security, data migration, litigation readiness, eDiscovery and leveraging advanced technology to improve efficiencies in legal. Chris manages eMerge’s technology team, technology infrastructure, and the technology services provided by eMerge including data management, remediation, identification, preservation, collection, filtering, processing, data hosting/storage, AI, managed review, production, presentation services, and custom application development. He has over 20 years experience in the legal technology industry serving in a variety of roles within law firms and technology service providers.
