As a Vice President for Asda and Walmart, with over 20 years experience and having come up through the ranks, my role is to maximise our commercial opportunities by inspiring, developing and leading our people. I passionately believe in looking after our customers and colleagues, and striving to be the best you can be. I am totally aligned with Asda’s philosophy of giving talented people every opportunity to realise their potential. In every senior role I have had, I have taken care to select and mentor a successor ready to take over the role when I moved on. Succession planning guarantees continuity, innovation and business growth. On a personal level, I am an aspiring football coach and strive to give something back through my support for great organisations such as Teach First and Young Enterprise. I am lucky to have a wonderful and supportive wife and three beautiful children .It is really important to me to create the time outside of work to enjoy family life together and to encourage my children in their passions for sport, playing music and living life.
