I have considerable experience in people and organisational development, encompassing learning and development, organisational development and talent acquisition and management. My experience is broad, and covers areas such as setting direction and building strategy, implementing initiatives aligned to strategy and stakeholder needs, shaping organisational culture and driving commercial outcomes. In both my current role and past roles I have managed and overseen a wide range of projects, ensuring that they achieve planned outcomes in a timely manner within resource constraints, aligned to the company strategy. I have worked broadly across all functions within the organisations I have held roles. Both Project Management Office (PMO) roles that I have undertaken involved the implementation of corporate strategy, with the aim of driving business results and change. In each of these roles I was responsible for establishing a new PMO function in the organisation. These roles were internal consultancies to the business at all levels. As a result, I have a well-developed ability to build strategy aligned to the broader organisational strategy, gain stakeholder buy-in at all levels of the organisation, and work cross-functionally in fast paced commercial businesses. I have worked across a very broad range of projects including new product development, business improvement initiatives (systems, processes, operations and logistics), new business development (growth, go-to-market, new business models), business transformation projects, capability building and organisational change projects. As a result I have strongly developed business acumen, and can work effectively across all levels of an organisation. This diverse experience enables me to have a deep understanding of the people aspects of project success, the ability to build capability in others, ensure behavioural outcomes are achieved, shape organisational culture and manage change effectively.
