Kenneth Barr’s current role at FORMA therapeutics includes discovery research portfolio management. He is additionally responsible for the identification and oversight of many of the components of the company’s virtual preclinical development organization, including contract providers of safety/toxicology, bioanalytical, and CMC functions. Furthermore, he provides project management for programs in preclinical development. Prior to joining FORMA Therapeutics, Kenneth served as a project team co-leader for multiple drug discovery programs in oncology and immunology at Merck & Co., including research programs wherein a large portion of team members were collaboration- or CRO-based. Throughout his 20 year career in drug discovery, Kenneth has worked in large, small, and virtual pharma, and he has investigated targets covering a broad range of therapeutic areas and biological mechanisms. He has applied his background in medicinal chemistry to numerous functions including business development, partner and asset evaluation, and alliance management. .
