Lonne is currently an Advisory Director at Foros, a Board Director at Vision Solutions, and a Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors at Syncsort. For over two and a half years, Lonne was the CEO of Syncsort, a global software company with enterprise-scale Big Data products used by 87 of the Fortune 100 enterprises in more than 85 countries. Lonne and the hundreds of Syncsort employees worldwide were focused on creating and delivering enterprise software for fast-growing Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Splunk. After accelerating the growth of the business both organically and through M&A, Syncsort was acquired by Clearlake in October, 2015. Syncsort's previous investors were Insight Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, Goldman Sachs, and Georgian Partners. Lonne continues to serve as a senior advisor to the Board of Directors at Syncsort, and is also a Board Director at Vision Solutions, a California-based enterprise software company acquired by Clearlake. Previously, Lonne was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy at CA Technologies, responsible for the development and execution of the company’s long-term technical and acquisition-related strategic initiatives. Before joining CA, Lonne was a Vice President at IBM, where he led a variety of sizable software acquisitions as well as technology growth strategy for two multi-billion dollar software divisions. Prior to this, he led IBM’s software businesses for the education, healthcare, life sciences, and government industries, including technical strategy, software product research and development, acquisition planning, and new business development. Lonne holds undergraduate and advanced degrees from Harvard University.
