Executive with 25 years experience leading accounting, finance, legal, analytics, IT and HR. Functional breadth uniquely coupled with deep experience in both start-up environments and in corporate settings over $1 billion in sales. Successful exits include acquisition by Criteo of Iponweb and acquisition by Monster of Affinity Labs. Featured in Harvard Business School case 9-809-019, “Affinity Labs” and in The Intelligent Entrepreneur by Bill Murphy Jr. Curtis is SVP Finance at Criteo, which acquired Iponweb where Curtis served as CFO. Both Criteo and Iponweb are leading technology companies in ad tech and commerce media. Previously, he was CFO at Sojern, a leading travel advertising and data company. Sojern was funded by TCV, NVP, Trident Capital, Focus Ventures, Industry Ventures and Triangle Peak Partners. Prior to that he served as CFO of Altius Education, Inc., which was funded by Maveron, Spark Capital & Charles River Ventures. Previously, Curtis served as General Manager of Monster Worldwide's education division and as Affinity Labs' VP Operations and CFO. At Affinity Labs, Curtis started as CFO and led Affinity's sales & operations efforts from inception through its sale to Monster. Affinity was funded by Trinity Ventures & The Mayfield Fund. Curtis was with United Airline's parent, UAL Corp. He was Vice President Finance & Treasurer of Ameniti Travel Clubs. As Senior Principal, he led planning and financial analysis for United NewVentures, whose sales had grown to $1 billion and developed business such as united.com, Mileage Plus third-party mileage sales, and United Cruises. Curtis worked at JP Morgan Chase as Vice President-Risk Management and Associate Corporate Finance. He advised Treasurers and CFO’s on the management of interest rate, currency, and equity risks and earlier assisted in the raising of capital in the transportation industries. Curtis also worked as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board and interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Curtis has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
