Claire Calmejane is a leading European figure in Financial Technology. She has a strong track-record of working with SBF120 executive committees on their growth and transformation roadmap (crypto, cyber, data, digital, innovation, IT, ESG) and with CEOs of high growth companies. She created and heads-up SG’s start-up fund (300million investment) and has P&L and business development responsibilities of some subsidiaries (TREEZOR). Strong international experience with 10 years abroad (US, UK, NL). A graduate from HEC, IT engineer from EPITA, and visiting researcher at MIT, she has a 15-year track record of designing and executing transformation strategies within complex, multinational businesses, as well as operating in more agile start-up environments. With an expertise in financial services and regulated activities, she has worked to identify strategic areas of revenue growth, marketing/business development, portfolio diversification having delivered strong benefits for the company. She has a robust experience of corporate governance (risk, finance, compliance) with her executive career and as non-executive director of BOURSORAMA, (Board + Chairwomen of the audit committee). A true connector, she thrives by building diverse and high performing teams leading them by strong values and vision. Claire also dedicates time mentoring and supporting women entrepreneurs and the women @SG network (20+ networks worldwide of women at SG). She created several international competitions to support women at work and regularly works with HEC, EPITA and other schools on increasing diversity in STEM. Experience of leading business teams up to 2000+ people and multi-billions transformation roadmaps. Since September 2018, she has served as the Chief Innovation Officer of SocGen (crypto, digital, data, SG Ventures – SG’s start-up fund). She is the youngest member of the management committee of Société Générale and a direct report to the CEO, Frédéric Oudéa.
