Snap is a digital finance company that provides merchandise financing to brick and mortar as well as e-commerce merchants. The Snap lease-purchase agreement is an innovative financial product which gives the 40% of consumers with poor credit an alternative to payday loans and other high-risk financial products to acquire needed or desired merchandise.

I have disrupted the virtual lease-to-own space by implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms to open up access to products for thin or no credit customers, invested in great colleagues and students, and designed/built ML platforms and teams. I appreciate passion but believe that driving an impact is one of the keys to success and happiness at work. I currently lead the Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and a core development team at Snap finance. For the last 9 years, I have also taught Statistics and Data Science at the University of Utah.
