In 1944, Smith Drug Company made the transition from being a community independent pharmacy to serving community independent pharmacies. Over 60 years later, the traditions and cultures set in place by Mr. Smith continue today. We know and understand the challenges that pharmacists face whether the challenges exist in a retail environment or hospital environment. Our growth coupled with our distribution expertise has allowed us to branch out into the hospital arena offering the hospital the same superb service that has been offered to the community pharmacy for many years. Smith Drug Company provides many services and added value benefits to our customer base, but it is the Flexibility, meeting our customer's needs that separates us from competition. As an executive in the pharmaceutical industry, I am forward-thinking, employee-centric, and a true visionary. I see opportunity where others do not, and leverage my profound leadership abilities to drive forward progress and reach complex goals. In the realm of pharmacy operations, I deliver vast experience. I feel that my aptitude to examine business from every angle truly is one of the reasons for my personal career growth. I can step into a position, observe strengths and weaknesses, and quickly determine forward actions. Across my career, I have had impacts on operations, sales, program implementation, and training practices. I entered this career field as a pharmacist and grew in my professional capacity rather quickly. Entering the Walmart organization early in my career and progressing up the leadership chain is where I gained an intense amount of exposure and experience. I have been an instrumental component in the achievement of sales surpassing $1B and am always searching to make improvements on training practices to ensure high-level talent development. Regardless of my role, I have always taken pride in remaining employee-centric and fostering a talented bench of promotable staff. As an incubator of talent, I focus on prepping my employees for that next level in their career and am confident my organizations have benefited from this fact. In Walmart alone, 4 of my staff went on to hold VP-level roles inside the company, and an additional 8 are in VP-level roles outside of the company. I find a tremendous amount of fulfillment from this industry and am eager to continue making measurable impacts across every level of business.
