I am a commercial litigator concentrating on matters involving trademark, copyright, rights of publicity, false advertising and consumer fraud claims. I also advise and represent clients in the areas of false advertising, advertising clearance and deceptive trade practice claims. In addition, I have extensive experience counseling clients on a wide range of sports matters. I serve as chair of the U.S. Amicus Committee for the International Trademark Association and I recently served a three-year term as chair of the New York City Bar Association’s Sports Law Committee.I repeatedly have been selected for inclusion in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in the Nationwide Sports Law category. I’m also a member of the Skadden group recognized by The National Law Journal as one of the country’s leading IP practices in its 2013 'IP Hot List.' I am an adjunct professor of law at Fordham University Law School, where I teach courses on Advertising Law and Advanced Trademark Law. I'm also an adjunct professor of law at Cardozo Law School, where I teach Sports and the Law.In certain jurisdictions, this may be considered attorney advertising.
