• Extensive experience in GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, LC/MS/MS instrumentation. • Experience in gas chromatographs using various modes of detection (e.g. FID, NPD, MS) for the detection, confirmation and quantitation of drugs in human and animal specimens. • Experience in liquid chromatographs using various modes of detection (e.g. UV-Visible and MS) for the detection, confirmation and quantitation of drugs in human and animal specimens. • Led and participated in several method development projects using novel extraction procedures for LC/MS/MS, FPLC, and GC/MS instruments. • Extensive experience in drug immunoassays (e.g. EMIT and ELISA) pertaining to forensic toxicologic cases. • Extensive experience in extraction techniques including liquid-liquid and solid phase extractions. • Extensive experience in software packages (e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, HP ChemStation, XCalibur and WinChrom) used for the statistical validation and presentation of analytical data. • Operational experience in UV-Visible spectrophotometers for the measurement of carbon monoxide in human blood specimens. • Extensive experience in the analysis of conventional and alternative biological specimens for medico-legal purposes. • Extensive experience in toxicologic assessment of medico-legal cases in the living (e.g. DUI, DUID, public intoxication, drug facilitated sexual assaults, etc.) • Experience in consultation with representatives from other agencies (e.g. police officers, district attorneys, and public defenders) pertaining to my involvement in the toxicologic evaluation of biological specimens. • Experience testifying in medico-legal cases on behalf of the defense and prosecution. • Extensive experience in Standard Operating Procedures and Chain-of-Custody Protocols as they apply to Forensic Toxicology. • Extensive experience in safety regulations and procedures.
