As a patient and sibling of a patient with an inherited retinal disease, I am on a personal mission to empower rare patients and families as they navigate living with rare conditions, and ultimately find cures for these diseases. I am pursuing this mission through fantastic work being done at Sema4, a patient-centric health intelligence company, where I lead our biopharma business unit. At Sema4, we are shortening diagnostic odysseys, helping patients and families understand their condition, and accelerating the development of therapies, all leveraging big data and network biology approaches.
