Chris Van Liew is the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer for Seattle University. A Pacific Northwest native, Chris graduated from Oregon State University, and previously served as the Chief Information Officer for Weyerhaeuser, after more than two decades of varied technology roles for the company. Chris has a passion for growing people and building teams to deliver uncompromising results. At Seattle University, Chris is responsible for technology strategy, project delivery, cybersecurity and many other technical services, and is a member of the President’s Cabinet. Beyond his IT responsibilities, Chris currently serves on board committees for MultiCare Health System.
