What I have done: I have been serving as an owner’s representative and project leader for the last 15 or so years, and I have a long list of accomplishments and completed projects of which I am very proud. None, however, are more significant than the restoration of the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, the Grand Ole Opry House, and the Gaylord campus following the May 2010 flood. I was the project leader and responsible for every aspect of the remediation and restoration project. Working collaboratively with the project team of consultants, contractors, and fellow Gaylord employees, we successfully completed the $200M project in 6 months. The experience and the lessons learned from this amazing accomplishment further solidified my philosophy on project management, collaboration, and leadership.
