Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RHP) is a REIT for federal income tax purposes, specializing in group-oriented, destination hotel assets in urban and resort markets. The Company's owned assets include a network of four upscale, meetings-focused resorts totaling 7,809 rooms that are managed by lodging operator Marriott International, Inc. under the Gaylord Hotels brand. Other owned assets managed by Marriott International, Inc. include Gaylord Springs Golf Links, the Wildhorse Saloon, the General Jackson Showboat, The Inn at Opryland, a 303-room overflow hotel adjacent to Gaylord Opryland and AC Hotel Washington, DC at National Harbor, a 192-room hotel near Gaylord National. The Company also owns and operates media and entertainment assets, including the Grand Ole Opry (opry.com), the legendary weekly showcase of country music's finest performers for over 90 years| the Ryman Auditorium, the storied former home of the Grand Ole Opry located in downtown Nashville| and 650 AM WSM, the Opry's radio home.

I have been employed at Ryman Hospitality Properties (formerly Gaylord Entertainment) for 20 years in a number of positions and departments. I began my employment as an executive assistant at Gaylord Opryland Resort, followed by a brief period as the assistant to the Operations Director at CMT (Country Music Television) moving onto the Strategic Partnership and Licensing department at the Gaylord Entertainment Corporate office. Merging with Sponsorship Marketing this department became Strategic Alliances and I was promoted to an assistant partnership account manager and later a partnership account manager with the responsibility of managing partnerships with such companies as Chevrolet, BellSouth, Hertz, U.S. Bank, Humana, Bass Pro Shops, Cracker Barrel, Nissan, Kimberly Clark and Ram Trucks. In 2012 Gaylord Entertainment signed an agreement with Marriott Hotels providing ownership to Marriott of the Gaylord Hotels Brand and management and operation of the four Gaylord Hotel properties. Gaylord Entertainment became a Real Estate Investment Trust company and changed the company name to Ryman Hospitality Properties. During this company restructuring I accepted the position as the Marketing Partnership Manager with the Opry Entertainment Group, one of the divisions of Ryman Hospitality Properties. In this position I manage the Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium strategic alliances including partnerships with Humana, Cracker Barrel, Kimberly-Clark and Dollar General, Southwest Airlines, Nissan North America, SunTrust Bank and Springer Mountain Farms. My responsibilities include ensuring implementaton of all aspects of partnership benefits, activativation programs and internal compliance.
