Holly Rollo is a proven leader, board member and advisor in the technology industry with a focus on transforming GTM engines and repositioning products/services portfolios in the face of major market disruptions, turnarounds, hyper-growth, carveouts and pre/post-equity transactions. She has three decades of experience in enterprise B2B, transformational and growth leadership roles within multinational environments operating at scale. Holly is currently the CEO of Surge Strategies, a strategic advisory firm focused on helping high-growth cloud businesses scale. Ms. Rollo is the former Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at RSA, and helped lead the successful transaction to Symphony from Dell in 2020. She also led all aspects of RSAC, a $50M business unit which grew profit 37% the first year under her leadership and drove a rapid digital pivot to alternative revenue streams as the events industry transformed due to COVID. Prior to RSA, Ms. Rollo served as CMO at Fortinet, helping the network security company reach $1B in revenue, and was CMO and Chief of Product Strategy at SumTotal Systems, a Vista Equity Partners HCM company which was acquired by Skillsoft. She has held leadership positions at FireEye, which grew from $5B to $13B in market cap during her tenure; SuccessFactors, which was acquired by SAP; Cisco leading market strategy for SME; and at SAP, where she helped lead the GTM transformation into the SME market with its first built for cloud ERP platform. She spearheaded repositioning at Sybase leading up to its acquisition by SAP, helped drive the product strategy at Veritas leading up to its acquisition by Symantec and helped lead post-acquisition strategic planning at IBM/Tivoli. Teams under Ms. Rollo's leadership have been honored to receive the SiriusDecisions ROI Award for Operations and Infrastructure Transformation and the IBA Stevie Award in Marketing for Global Customer Demand Center Transformation. She has contributed to publications such as Harvard Business Review and Forbes and has been a mainstage speaker at multiple, large scale industry events. She holds multiple board and advisory roles which include contributions made to the US Federal Government. She is a board advisor and contributing professor at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, is a mentor and advocate for young women in technology and graduated with honors from Santa Clara University.
