Ian has a proven track record as a business leader, having held board level responsibility within various business environments - operating as both a Managing Director and leader of HR and L&D. He has successfully implemented leading edge HR strategies to improve business performance, demonstrating an ability to adapt to differing business cultures - highly acquisitive organistions and those that focus on organic growth; unionised and non-unionised; publicly quoted and privately owned; rapidly expanding and those requiring cost control through periods of recession. As well as his leadership of HR and L&D, Ian has been responsible for running his own operating division (Reed HR), taking it from start-up to a leading player within the UK HR recruitment sector before handing over the reigns. More recently, Ian acted as Managing Director of Reed Talent Solutions, which provides outsourced recruitment solutions and HR consultancy.
