From jumping into large existing procurement functions, building procurement in a greenfield environment, to establishing and leading teams whilst adapting and applying agile practices to enhance speed to market – 10 years of procurement has been exciting! Like many people working in procurement today, I fell into the job. That’s not a bad thing in my case though! I have been fortunate to learn so much from peers and leaders, that I added to the score board swiftly. I continue to thrive in environments others might term as challenging. I love a prickly negotiation to calm stirred relationships or derive deeper value from incumbent supply partners. My energetic and ambitious nature empowers me to be responsive to growing and changing business demands, and my curious and calm temperament enables me to look for value beyond savings through my ability to cultivate supplier relationships. I’m proud to share my aptitude for leading innovative and game-changing approaches to supplier and stakeholder relationships. I'm keen to continue to grow and and I absolutely thrive when I get to tackle challenges head-on.
