Hard work and a dedication to doing what is right for those around me has been the foundation of how I interact with my team, customers, and classmates. I have always strived to be the best in the biggest arena, whether that was choosing a top academic school while competing as a Division I wrestler, or getting my Executive MBA from Kellogg while I worked full-time for Medtronic. I am no stranger to challenging myself and succeeding. Managing multiple projects and deadlines has been the recipe for how I have achieved in my career and academia. While at Kellogg I was able to define my leadership strategy, which is to be tough on standards, but tenderhearted with people. This mantra is rooted in values based leadership and really speaks to how I view and lead people. I feel that I have a great responsibility to develop those I lead and for that reason, I am tough on the standards that I hold for them. At the same time, because seeing them succeed is what gives me the most enjoyment from what I do, I am tender hearted with those I lead. Leading a team and driving the future of an organization through strategy, market development, and marketing is where my interests are centered at present. Leveraging my experience and studies from Kellogg, I feel that I can positively impact an organization in these areas.
