And that has been the foundation of my career and my inspiration to:- Drive my own truck to Microsoft’s warehouse to will-call the first copies of Excel for the Mac ever produced, and rushing them to our customers. (customer obsessed)- Ditch one-size fits all national marketing programs and build client-tailored, channel-specific campaigns. (invent and simplify)- Build one of the first digital editions, with extended galleries and video, interactive content, and metrics on usage. (deliver results)BUILDING BUSINESSESI was part of the teams that launched the largest direct marketing retailer of PC software, that launched Windows 95, and the Xbox. I saw opportunities within those businesses and helped build new ones, such as, launching the most successful video-game console-specific magazine ever published, and shortly after, building the custom publishing division at Future US, which generated millions in revenue for 10 years running.
