Technology is the lifeblood of work today. As a seasoned technical support analyst, I bring a proven track record of applying my deep technical expertise to help employees to use technology to do their jobs and achieve their company’s goals. My experience spans users at all levels within diverse industries, including retail, food, energy and construction. In my current role as a key player in Pepper Construction’s technical support team, I combine several user support functions with company-wide projects, such as software compliance, purchasing and procurement, inventory and asset tracking, and training of new hires. As a professional, I thrive when immersed in solving the technological problems that stymie others. My natural curiosity, creativity, and persistence, drive me to constantly seek new ways to improve technology management across the organization. Notable projects include:− Spearheading the company’s first ever electronic waste recycling project.−Creating a system to ensure that the company is always software compliant.− Implementing a replacement computer imaging tool that cut task time by 50%.My work is characterized by precision and attention to detail. Skills honed as an early career professional photographer continue to serve me, whether evaluating a contract from a vendor or documenting configurations for software. The value I place on investing in long term relationships includes the trusted partnerships with vendors that enable me to negotiate 'good deals' for the company.As an active participant in my local community, I train regularly with the Medical Reserves Corp and have been honored with a Citizenship Award for contributions to Annual Night Out Against Crime events. I combine my passions for both technology and photography as long-time webmaster, newsletter editor, and workshop leader for Calumet Region Photo Club.
