In finding my own personal values at the core of the construction industry, I entered Ball State University as a Construction Management major in 2012, with a minor in Business Administration. Throughout the duration of my coursework, I have not only gained the knowledge necessary to excel in the industry, but also valuable field experience working for two separate companies. Gaining field experience as an assistant superintendent with Beacon Builders of Indianapolis, and as a project management and estimating intern with Performance Contracting, Inc., I have acquired an extensive and diverse skill set to apply to my work as an industry professional. In my responsibility overseeing more than 40 residential worksites in my time with Beacon Builders, and working as an intern for Performance Contracting, Inc., I have learned that effective communication is essential to project and professional success within the industry. It is my goal to take the knowledge and experience I have gained with me into the industry as a construction professional. I look forward to beginning my career with a company with strong core values where my acquired knowledge and skills align with that of the company and prove to be beneficial to the company’s success.
