Mine Purchasing and Warehouse Manager

As a Bridger Coal Procurement and Warehouse Manager, I lead a team of represented and non-represented employees growing the departments through continuous process improvements and working with corporate to align Bridger Coal with corporate governance. Currently I am leading the auction sales for the Underground Mine that closed in December of 2021. Creating the process for identifying auction lots, location changes and delegating resources where necessary to meet sales goals. I am also managing the Surface Mine Procurement and Warehouse Departments. Before that, I was the Contract Administrator for Bridger Coal, creating, negotiating, and executing one time and Master Service Agreements. Prior to that position, I was an Associate Buyer for Bridger Coal, processing stock and vendor managed releases as well as training on contracts for later promotion to the Contract Administrator position. What started my career in oil, gas, and mining was the position at Morcon Specialty where I managed office and field operations for six years. While there, I streamlined the procurement functions, managed the inventory for the Rock Springs branch, and handled the HR related issues. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University, an Associates Degree in Business from John Wood Community College as well as two purchasing certificates from the American Purchasing Society. Currently I hold credits from SNHU towards a Master in Business in Leadership. By the end of June 2023 I will also hold a certificate in Event Planning from IAP College. I am a member of the American Purchasing Society which allows me to stay up-to-date on current issues with my work.
