I am an Analytics enthusiast currently pursuing Masters in Business Analytics from McCombs School of Business at University of Texas - Austin. My coursework includes Predictive Modeling, Advanced Machine learning techniques, Text Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Optimization techniques etc. Prior to this, I worked for almost two years as a Decision Scientist at Mu Sigma Business Solutions in India. I had the opportunity to work with clients across industries like Retail, Technology, e-commerce etc. which gave me experience in bringing structure to open ended and ambiguous business problems and also in developing mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive frameworks for efficient hypotheses driven analysis. Working on these projects I gained expertise of working in SAS, R, SPSS and SQL. I had the opportunity to learn about the various facets of real time data driven decision making, the technicalities of which have accrued my curiosity about the industry. Once I graduate, I look forward to a working environment that would help me leverage my skills in Data Analytics field and help me grow as a business professional.
